Midweek News - 12th April

Jay Bothroyd's Queens Park Rangers played in the mid week live game on Sky Sports on Wednesday against Swansea. In a tight opening half, QPR took the lead on the stroke of half time. With their confidence up, they dominated the second period and eventually ran out 3-0 winners. The result moves QPR two points clear of the relagation zone.

Adam Blakeman signs with Skylet Andrew - 11th April

Skylet Andrew Ltd are delighted to welcome young Bolton Wanderers midfielder Adam Blakeman to the company. A centre midfielder who is equally capable at left back, Adam progressed through the Bolton academy to sign his first professional contract with the club in July 2011. A regular in the reserve side this season, captaining the side on occasions, Adam is somewhat of a dead ball specialist. Adam made his debut for the first team in August, coming off the bench in a League Cup tie at home to Macclesfield Town. We look forward to a long and successful working relationship together.

Easter Weekend Round Up - 9th April

Jermain Pennant's Stoke City got their Easter weekend off to a good start with a 2-1 win over relagation threatened Wolvers at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday evening. Jermaine Pennant's cross was headed in by Peter Crouch for the winner in this one. Following this, Stoke travelled to Villa Park on Easter Monday where they faced Aston Villa. Trailing 1-0 at the time, it was Pennant again who supplied the cross for Robert Huth to head to home. The game ended 1-1.

Jay Bothroyd was employed as a lone striker as QPR went down 2-0 to Man Utd. The game was overshadowed by a controversial decision where QPR had a man sent off resulting in a penalty and goal for Man Utd early in this one. QPR will face Swansea on Wednesday night live on Sky Sports.

It was a disappointing weekend for Marvin Sordell's Bolton Wanderers. They lost at home to Fulham on Saturday and again to Newcastle on Monday. With other results going their way, Bolton remain outside the relagation zone.

Lloyd Dyer's Leicester City kept up their late surge for a play off place with a comfortable 4-0 win at home to Doncaster on Saturday. They followed that up with a superb away win at Ipswich to give themselves a real chance of sneaking into the play offs. Leicester currently lie 9th in the table only 3 points behind 6th place Cardiff.

Carl McHugh Signs - 2nd April

Skylet Andrew Ltd are delighted to announce the signing of young Reading defender Carl McHugh. The Republic of Ireland under 19 International joined the club as a 16 year old, progressing through the club's academy before signing his first professional contract in June last year. During the first half of this season, Carl spent time on loan in his native country where he enjoyed a successful spell with Dundalk in the League of Ireland Premier Division. We are delighted to welcome Carl to the company and look forward to a long working relationship together.
