Lloyd Dyer on target for Leicester - 22nd September
Lecister City travelled to Cardiff City on Wednesday night for thier 4th round clash in the Carling Cup. The away side took a 2-1 lead in the second half with Lloyd Dyer on target, however Cardiff got back on level terms and the game ended in a draw. Unfortunately for Leicester and Lloyd, Cardiff went on to win the game after extra time and penalties.

Stoke over come Tottenham in the Carling Cup - 21st September
Jermaine Pennant's Stoke City overcame Tottenham Hotspurs in the all Premier League clash in the Carling Cup last night. The game ended in a scoreless draw resulting in extra time and a penalty shoot out with Stoke eventually running out 7-6 winners in the shoot out.

Weekend Review - 19th September
Jay Bothroyd's QPR scored two early goals against Wolves at Molineaux to secure all three points for the new look QPR side. Within 10 minutes they were 2-0 up and the home side never recovered. QPR added a third late on to run out convincing 3-0 winners.
Watford's Marvin Sordell was on target in his sides 1-1 draw at Barnsley on Saturday. The in form striker scored to give Watford the lead just before half time, but they couldnt hold out for the win as Barnsley equalised in the second half.

Stoke City earn their first Europa League point -16 September
Jermaine Pennant's Stoke City were cruelly denied all three points in their opening Europa League game as Dynamo Kiev scored a last minute equaliser. The Stoke performance will no doubt have impressed the manager as the Potters made their Europa League debut, and they will look to build on that away performace in their next outing against Besiktas at The Britannia Stadium in two weeks time.
